Our Processes

Building your dream home should be exciting.  That’s why at Albury Projects we are dedicated to making the journey as stress free and relaxed as possible.  Please take a moment to read through our step by step processes below and feel free to give us a call if you have any questions.

1. Initial Meeting & Design Stage

Initial Meeting – Book an appointment online or contact Steve directly –    0414 658 807 to arrange an initial meet and greet. At this initial appointment your individual circumstances will be discussed, for example do you have plans already? If so we will go over them with you, if not we can organise an appointment with one of our Architects/Designers to get the ball rolling.

Plans Required – In order for us to provide you with a fixed price quote, we require a set of construction drawings, engineering and product selections.

2. Document Stage

Fixed Price Quote – After choices are made and plans and inclusions have been finalised, it’s time to request a fixed price quote for the construction of your new luxury home.  Steve handles all the quoting personally and once finalised your tender will include:

  • An itemised detailed scope of works outlining all inclusions
  • A fitting and fixtures document outlining all selections
  • A list of any provisional sums and primary cost items

Presentation of Offer – At this meeting, Steve will present and go over the quote with you outlining all the inclusions and give you an opportunity to ask as many questions as you would like.

Contract – Albury Projects will handle all the paper work and get the contract between both parties drawn up.  We use a standard form contract, such as one of Master Builders Contracts.  We will then meet once again to go through the contract, answer any questions and have the documents signed, so that the construction process can begin.

3. Construction

Construction Begins – As per start date on the contract, construction of your new luxury home begins.  You are welcomed and encouraged to meet Steve on site for designated meetings, to see first-hand the progress on your new home.  Albury Projects takes photos regularly throughout the job and places them on their Facebook page so that you and your family and friends can keep track of the progress.

Progress Invoices/Payments – Progress invoices are issued throughout the job, usually monthly or at certain stages, depending on the type of job.  Payments of these invoices are to be made in a timely manner to ensure the construction process runs smoothly without any delays.

4. Hand Over

Final Clean – Albury Projects use Professional Cleaners to clean your designer home from top to bottom, so all you need to worry about is moving in and relaxing.

Quality Control Guarantee – As superior quality is what we guarantee and are renowned for, Steve personally walks through your new home with you and completes the final inspection, making sure everyone is happy with the end results.

Time for Photos – Now that everything is finished, it’s time for our photographer to come in and capture the innovative style of your new home.

Final Hand Over of Keys/Practical Completion – The last step.  We meet with you and walk you through your new home room by room.  Congratulations, you are now the owner of a state of the art, custom built new home that will be the envy of all your family and friends.  The keys are now yours.
